Peter Schümers
Partner and Co-Head of Investments
Peter Schümers joined EIP in 2016 and is a Partner and Co-Head of the Investments team. He sits on the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies. He has more than fifteen years of experience in the energy infrastructure sector.
Prior to joining EIP, Mr. Schümers was a Principal at an international investment banking firm in London, where he advised clients on numerous M&A transactions and infrastructure projects across Europe.
His sector expertise covers the entire energy infrastructure sector, including renewable energy, conventional power generation, regulated networks, gas infrastructure, and integrated utility companies.
He holds a dual master’s degree in Business Administration (Dipl. Kaufmann) and International Management (CEMS MiM) from the University of Cologne.
