Albert Brenninkmeijer

Albert Brenninkmeijer’s career has spanned asset management, retail and various philanthropic roles. He is a partner (owner) of COFRA Holding – his family’s six-generation enterprise.

Currently, Albert is a Managing Director at Anthos Fund & Asset Management. He combines this with his role as Chairman of the Fashion for Good Foundation in Amsterdam (Stichting Fashion for Good). Albert joined Anthos Fund & Asset Management late 2019, following a career in the family enterprise since 1992.

Anthos Fund & Asset Management is a Dutch asset management firm that delivers values-based investment solutions and investment strategies to like-minded asset owners.

Albert brings 25 years of experience in the fashion retail and sustainability space. He held various commercial leadership roles at global fashion chain C&A, including in Switzerland, France, Brazil, and Mexico. In 2015 he became Chief Operating Officer, C&A Global Sourcing based in Hong Kong. He has also served on C&A’s Global Sustainability Board and on the board of C&A Foundation, now Laudes Foundation. Albert received an MA in Economics from The University of Edinburgh and an MBA from The University of Oxford.
